There should be a tournament and championships events held maybe each week, where trainers can enter and engage in real time pokemon battling to ultimately determine the winning trainer for that tournament for the week, and win unique prizes just like in the anime. There should also be an entrance fee to up the game. There should also be different divisions, like there is an "Indigo Plateau" tournament, with 3 divisions : lv 500 - 700's only, lv 1000 - 2000's only, 5000's only, etc.

yeah :) the prize can just be coins or money, or maybe a pokemon, or even a couple of battle points and there should be an exchange corner in the tournament where you can redeem your points for other useful prizes :)

which is why I said there should be different division, the different level specifics, if that doesn't work we can base divisions on trainer levels, have the low level face off against each other with a specific level pokemon, then the intermediates face off and then the pro's

Let me add that there should be a trainer lvl battle (0-100)battles(100-500)(500-1000)and so on :D

Yes different divisions but without live battles it's impossible to make championships

It should be the only live battling done in the game :) makes it easier, I know a whole lot of people would enjoy and use this feature if it was implemented :)

well to compensate that, they could make it that you submit your move, and then you wait till the other person has chosen a move, if the user takes too long to choose a move he/she skips their turn as penalty
