Points are easy to obtain. Which leads to more encouragement for people to proxy for promos and ruin the rarity.

I can see where you are coming from, but I honestly dislike this idea. Points are far, FAR to easy to earn through the Battle Tent as you normally get 1k+ points per battle. I would dislike seeing this as it looks to me as if this idea was recommended simply out of sheer laziness. I do not mean to insult you, but I say that you seem lazy because well, Points are much, much easier to earn than Coins. Even if the promo could be bought using points, even at a "high" price of 200k points or something, it'd still be awfully cheap, now wouldn't it be? Also, we don't really have a Points to Coins converter rate, whatever you would like to call it. Not some made up one, but one that everyone uses, follows and one that is stable.

tl;dr? No, because it seems this idea was brought up out of sheer laziness and because buying the promo with more than one currency is just stupid.

Unless it would be around 15,000,000 for a promo that costs 350 coins, than not so good of an idea.
I like the idea of more things to do with points, such as a shop that takes points to buy Pokemon, But not the ability to buy the promo with points.
