So I've noticed multiple threads where people ask high coin values for some Pokemon. Is there a specific thread or some feature in game that informs you of Pokemon coin value?

I understand the Pokemon in that thread was high leveled but I don't understand the coin value given to some of these Pokemon.

OP's second post states he only got 15k coins for it and he also stated that it was worth a lot more.

Can someone please explain this odd pricing system in this game?

There is a rate list [you must login to view links] which is used by the majority of creed's community.
When a pokemon is leveled, the value will increase for each billion experience that it has.
A level 1000 pokemon has 1 billion exp, but that normally doesn't effect the value, rather drops it.
A level 2000 pokemon has 8 billion exp, that already increases the rate, some players don't increase the value for exp tho.
And so on, nowadays the rate for 1 billion exp is 100 coins, because training became very easy and people have very high leveled pokemon, meaning they get a lot exp per battle.
The rate for 1 billion exp was way higher in the past, it just dropped again and again.
