No you have got it all wrong say if I enter a shiny Deino in the racetrack,only another shiny Deino can race my shiny Deino but that doesn't apply to regular pokemon

To race you can race normals with any type of pokemon. For colored pokemon you must race them with the same type and the same pokemon.

yes what starmastor21100 said if you race a shiny hitmontop you also have to have a shiny hitmontop if you race a shiny pokemon you have to race it of the same pokemon

thats not a error but it means that when you want to race shiny golurk then shiny golurk must be with you that what it means
