i need some help.
i wanted to buy a pokemon L 1200 from the auction house.
it says :

The pokemon's level exceeds your trade cap!

what does it means??

Your trade cap is the same as your trainer level. The higer your trainer level, the higher your trade cap. The higher your trade cap, the higher level pokemon you can buy/trade. It's a way of making sure you train your pokemon.

so when i am level 140.
i can get only pokes from level 140 or lower.
so level 141 exceed my cap ?

Yeah, you can't get NEW pokemon higher than 140 without exceeding it. But you can OWN pokemon higher than that by loaning it to someone who trains pokemon and they send it back, because technically it is still YOUR opkemon.
