Mysterious Trainer but you should have toxic and fly and a team of golurks for better chance of defeating the mews.

This is my best tactic
First u need to get a very high lvl Pokemon one u don't actually need get it from a friend or borrow one
Lvl 4000 above should do it then get a very high lvl golurk then go to the bird trainer all his attacks can't hurt the golurk
If u want to train a lvl 5 Pokemon use any random ghost type Pokemon and hurt the bird trainers Pokemon and then switch to the Pokemon u want to train

but if you don't have toxic and fly. You can use sludge and megahorn but I think it's a little bit harder. Just try it. :)
