i played all of the pokemon ds lite games sold. they all have many status. creed has only one status which is poison. there should be more of them like: sleep, burn, confused, frozen. for ex: if i just poison mew it still attacks.which would be like:
Golurk used Megahorn. Golurk has hit the opponent Mew for 10166 damage! Golurk is hurt by the poison! It was super effective! Mew used Shadow Claw. Mew has hit your Golurk for 73108 damage! Mysterious Trainer's Mew is hurt by the poison! It was super effective! and if there were sleep,then it would be like: Golurk used Megahorn. Golurk has hit the opponent Mew for 10166 damage! Golurk is hurt by the poison! It was super effective! Mysterious Trainer's Mew is asleep! Mysterious Trainer's Mew is hurt by the poison! |

Idk,it's easy enough to beat Mew but I guess this could be used for an extra challenge :)

burn= everlasting (like Poison) confusion= 2-5 turns frozen= 3-5 turns |

Since poison is everlasting I do see why we would need the other ones.
