one guy told me that he trained his level 5 pokemon to level 3000 in just one battle thanks to 5 goletts of level 506. i told him to sell them to me and he sold them to me. i am happy, but confused, how do i train using them? they didn't have toxic or fly, the moves were sludge and megahorn, quick attack and pound. can someone tell me each and every step on how to do what that trainer was doing?

I think he battled the mysterious trainer, and used sludge to poison the mew, then kept on using megahorn. about the pokemon leveling from 5 to 3000 in one battle... I don't think it's possible... or maybe it is if you have a high enough lvl...

or maybe he was fooling me....when i tried it, i got message golett failed to toxic mew. why so?

I hate to disappoint you, but let me tell you this. Even if you had five lvl 506 Golurks WITH each of them having Toxic and Fly, and a lvl 5 Pokemon which you are supposed to train, it is more than just impossible to get that Pokemon to level 3k by battling Mew just once. You need a much higher leveled Pokemon to do that. Sorry, but you got tricked. :|

sludge doesn't always poison the poke, and regarding the level, I've searched some computations, and if I'm correct, as it turns out, you need 27bil exp to reach lvl 3000, and you will need a level 140k poke to recieve 28bil exp per battle. if you want, I could lend you a golurk that has toxic, although I still need to save up for another toxic and an exp lock.

Sludge has a 30% chance to poison, 5-3000 is impossible at the moment because I think zapdos gets 5-6 billion per mew, Toxic is basically all you need to train, Fly and Megahorn are a help.

so, the bottomline is that i got tricked??even if all of my goletts are level 20k i still can't train it that way. so, how should i train? a way to get lots of exp faster. i am bored of beating swimmer and bird tamer.

I battle the mysterious trainer for exp... since all of his pokes are 10x the lvl of my strongest party poke. and I use 6 golurks/goletts, one has toxic and fly, and the rest mega horn.

^Follow what Phoenix suggested. If you don't have Toxic, make your Pokemon learn Fly , and keep Sludge and Megahorn as two of the moves. This is the best method to train against MT, although I do suggest you collect coins and buy a Toxic before doing anything else.
