New players: No high levels
A new challenge.

Should new players be restricted and unable to receive high level pokemon (levels of over 32) via trading, auction house and so forth and be restricted from lending pokemon (to avoid training assistance) until they have obtained all the gym badges?
An alternative could be when they reach trainer level 500, or maybe whichever comes first (reaching level 500 or obtaining all badges). Something like that.

This gives a new challenge to players, instead of instantly getting a high level Pokemon in the first minute they sign up then 1 KOing all the gyms.

This wouldn't be limited too much, they can still trade all they like provided there are no high level pokemon.

Remember to be kind, helpful and considerate - to everyone.

I Agree with until they got all gym badges thing, this a good idea. This also make those new players get more experience in battling instead waiting someone else helping them get a high lv.
9.9/10

Don't think it would be a good idea. People will get frustrated. It would be no fun. Since the fun really starts once you can battle new and get some "real" training in.

This is a double sided sort of thing for me.
1) Good idea because they have to at least try to make their way into the game.
2) As pokepop stated, they make quit right away because it's "too hard".

I think it's okay the way it is currently though.
I'd just leave it.

I agree, because i' v seen a new player get a 3k for free. No training at all. They should work for their high leveled poke. But 32 seems kind of low to me. 7/10

Well, considering I did this myself and it wasn't too hard it made it fun and didn't make me want to quit. I like this Idea!

I agree.. they should atleast beat all the gym badges and reach level. 500 on their own before they start trading or geting training for their pokes

I don't agree, I think the new players are just trying to get a head start, which isn't hard to understand

Yes I agree with this actually 9/10. It allows the new trainer a chance to feel somewhat at home in a pokemon game because of having to be the gyms. So how about once it reaches 500 it can't increase until all gyms are beat. Wish this was here before I came, would of been a lot of fun.

As Becbec said, I am against this. I was helped out and it didn't make any difference. I'm still leagues behind everyone and having fun. I don't see the point in this, it's mostly old timers being angry at newcomers having it easy. Anyways, I like to help someone new as I was but I'm still fairly new and poor. This system will kill the whole interaction and helping/friend-making factor. Newbies will be secluded.

10/10. I had to train hard when I was new. The trading caps now are better than the ones before becbec :P and it gives the new players a great reward for their hard work after they beat the gyms :)

Coming from the noob of noobs (me) I agree with pokepop, if the game would have been that difficult, i probably would have quit myself :/ the only reason i got past level 1 was because i had bought myself a level 100 pokemon from auction, besides, it would be unfair, because everyone else had it easy, why punish the noobs? Maybe there could be a difficulty setting that would change how hard the game would be, therefore making more restrictions and making the game more of a challenge... not that anyone would use it >.>
