NPC trainers
Alright well obviously there are a lot of people out there getting easy high levels and don't even enjoy battling all the fun NPC's. My suggestion is we lock down the NPC's. This will be similar to what Da Man implemented during some of the previous promos. In order for you to purchase the promo you had to battle the bug catcher so many time before you could battle it. Well what if we did that to the NPC's.

In order to get to the higher trainers like Zapmolcuno and Mystery Trainer and Swimmer Richard (the trainers that everybody battles due to their multipliers/easiness) a player will first have to go through all the elementary trainers. Each trainer will have to be beaten 50 times or so on the elementary level in order to unlock the next trainer. Once getting to the intermediate levels you would have to beat 25 times or so to unlock the next. Then the professional trainer (10 times), then V.I.P trainer (5 times), then zapmolcuno (3 times), then finally you can unlock Mystery trainer (once you get his other requirements also).

Remember this is to help players experience the full NPC line-up as many just ignore the majority of them. Also to make it a challenge to get to Mysterious Trainer to get the high level training multiplier.

So many people ignore the Elementary Trainers that they shouldn't even be in the game. This would really balance everything out. Great idea! 10/10.

I think this is a good idea.
New trainer really should experienced the whole NPC trainers rather than ignoring them.

Beating each Elementary trainer 50 times? O.o
Even I wouldn't want to do that many.
As a newbie, it'd be hard to do just a couple.
I don't think it's the greatest idea, sorry.

Not a good idea. There's already one lock on the Mysterious Trainer. No point to locking training like this, it's just going to make people not want to bother training. Everyone has high level pokemon because training is done cheaply by people who already have access to the mew team. 0/10

NPC trainers
@LOTIO No but you see as a newbie you would have most of your pokemon the same level, therefore they will have a party of relatively same leveled pokes to beat the NPC's then eventually you work your way up. Because all the Elementary NPC's just mimic the level of your highest poke. Plus it doesn't have to be 50 times, it would probably be smaller, I was just trying to figuratively point out that the higher you go up on the multipliers the less you have to battle to unlock the next one.

@mike I know this is just trying to help get the other NPC's get some use as they are rarely if ever used. Plus Da Man could always decide if putting another cap on Mysterious Trainer could help or not as it doesn't have to happen. And I mean all you have to do is unlock each one once, now how hard can that be?

@Crona.... -.-

@Rich as of today I have beat every single NPC.
@Arsenic so what if it is too many strategies, thats what pokemon is about is strategies. You just don't see anybody on the show whip out a fire type to beat a water type. There are many strategies to almost anything you do in life.

Last time I remember battling dragon tamer was that I needed to make sure I had every pokemon in my party had fly and ice moves, along with a poke or two with toxic just to make sure. (Fly is for when you need to use toxic and ice moves because they are x2 weakness to dragons. Might have to experiment with which ice move to used though, forgot which one I used.) it will take a few tries against him though because of finding which ice move to use. ALSO it is important that you keep pokemon near the same level and I prefer 3 golurks and three spiritbombs but that's up to you.
