Coin Problems...
Throughout the past month or so, a few players, including myself, have noticed an excessive amount of coins being added into Creed. Much of this has to do with Hitdown and its 1,000 coin prize to the winner, or in reality, winners.

After doing some calculations, Creed SHOULD be releasing about 17.5k coins (Minimum Prizes from Daily Mini-Games) to 20k coins (From Lucky Dip Wailord). As aforementioned, Hitdown is responsible for most of these coins, being 14k of the minimum 17.5k coins being released per day. Unfortunately, there is the Hitdown "Glitch," in where more than one person can win the 1,000 coin prize. There have been numerous occasions where the chatroom has been bombarded by 2, 3, 4+ people saying, "You've got a hit! You won 1,000 coins and blah blah blah!" So, if even 2 people win Hitdown each time, the prize coins almost double, allowing 25k+ coins everyday just from Hitdown! This is just mind-boggling!

But wait, it gets WORSE! :D

So, with the rise of 25k+ coins per day, that sums up to 175k+ coins per week. If 175k coins are added per week, that adds up to over 700k coins added per MONTH. If coins are added this rapidly, then I am almost 100% sure that Creed's economy is going to take a huge toll in the long run.

You're probably wondering after that paragraph, "Well, how is it going to affect Creed's economy?" Well, think about it. If the amount of coins increases at the rate it is now, coins are going to become worthless. Coins are the currency of Creed, and if the amount increases, than what's the point of getting them? It's just like inflation with real money.

While talking about this problem (In my opinion, it's a problem) in the chatroom, many veteran players have expressed their opinion about how easy it is to earn coins nowadays compared to Creed's older days. They remembered how training rates used to be 15-30k coins for just One Billion Exp, and how hard it was to actually earn those coins. Many of them believe that their hard work in training for their prizes is being wasted because of the massive increase of coins.

I know that many of you will disagree with this, seeing that Hitdown is a refuge for getting rich. I also know that those who will disagree with this are either poor or new. You may feel like, "Ughh, these dumb veteran players. All they care is about themselves and not the new players." Don't Worry!!! We all have gone through that phase where we've been poor and felt like quitting. The difference between the quitters and the winners is that the winners worked to get to where they are! It's not that we don't think about you, it's that we feel like the game is becoming too easy and the reason for that is because of the coins being added.

So, what can WE do to change this?

What I recommend is if the Hitdown "Glitch" cannot be fixed, then change the Hitdown prizes back to the original (250 coins to the winner, etc...)

Create more expensive promos such as the ShadowPalkia promo (Priced at 5k) to remove coins. The ShadowPalkia promo was quite successful with that, removing about 200k coins from the economy.

Some people have recommended a coin reset, but I'm not quite interested going down this path. Some people, myself included, would be upset.

Others have recommended a complete stoppage of Coin-Giving Mini-Games for 2+ weeks. But, what's the point of it if the prizes continue to be the same after the 2 weeks?

Ideas Recommended By Others

Dualot - Introduce something 'new' which would require players to pay coins which would be worth it and Change the current training system(now, it's just whatever level your highest Pokemon is, the poke you're attacking is 'x' times it).

Mountain Dew - One thing we could add to the game is just special things to snazz up your profile. Perhaps limit how many characters into your signature then you can pay a sum of coins to be able to expand it for more characters. Maybe some exclusive limited themes that can be purchased permanently for coins. Special things that just make you look "cool" people are always a sucker for those. New battle layout can be purchased etc.

It all depends on YOU.

EDIT: I will do a live experiment, seeing how many coins are added everyday for the next week-two weeks.

October 9th, 2013-- 9:37 P.M. EST: 18,538,800 coins --> http://prntscr.com/1wctgv

October 10th, 2013-- 9:44 P.M. EST: 18,571,353 coins --> [you must login to view links] (32,553 Coins added in ONE DAY!)

October 11th, 2013-- Forgot to Check

October 12th, 2013-- 11:20 P.M. EST: 18,670,313 coins --> [you must login to view links] (Gain of Almost 100k coins in a little over two days. This is ridiculous).

October 13th, 2013-- 11:14 P.M. EST: 18,718,426 coins --> [you must login to view links] (A little over 48k coins added... *Sigh*).

October 14th, 2013-- Jesus, I need to stop going asleep too early -_- Sorry!

October 15th, 2013-- 9:54 P.M. EST: 18,784,942 coins --> [you must login to view links] (A little over 65k added in under 2 days).

October 16th, 2013-- 9:57 P.M. EST: 18,842,216 coins --> [you must login to view links] (A little under 40k in about a day)

October 17th, 2013-- 10:17 P.M. EST: 18,836,144 coins --> [you must login to view links] (Finally, a LOSS of coins. Keep in mind this is because the ShadowMienfoo promo was released today. More Promos = Less Coins Ingame).

October 25th, 2013-- 7:57 P.M. EST: 19,089,564 coins (Sorry for the long interval. I've been very busy and this may be the last "experiment" for the thread) --> http://prntscr.com/1zau78

In about 15 days of tracking the coins in Creed, I've learned many things. One extremely important fact to bring up is the fact how Creed LOST coins once the Sh. Mienfoo promo was released. Hopefully, if promos are continuously added, and added on time, then coins in Creed will decrease.

In 15 days, OVER 550,000 coins were added, completely shattering my expectation of only 350,000 coins being added in half a month. Help stop the problem of 1+ million coins being added every month. It WILL ruin Creed's economy and it will ultimately destroy Creed in the long run. Thanks to all of you have have supported this.

Since everything calls for coins I don't think that the coins should be gotten rid of, but I do agree that the problem needs to be fixed. Otherwise Pokémon Creed will go down the toilet, so to speak. We can't let that happen!

I think it was the great if we could change the way it is now, since I paid a golden cress for one trillion training last time while now you can just get a trillion for just like 20-30k! and that's ridiculous like it has just been one year and the whole training system dropped till 10-30c per billion.

Tbh no one cares about the coins that come in the game everyday. Its pretty good that people are getting rich. The rates are also rising along with the economy.

Someones storage o.o

Actually the rates are only going to get lower if the coin population keeps inflating. The rates of things keep falling as the amount of coins in the game rises.

Yeah I think the prizes should be back or lowered again.
It will still be good since there are still many winners because of the glitch on hitdown.

In my opinion the best way to reduce the circulation of coins is to reduce the prize money of Hitdown and increase the price of Promo Pokemons (assuming that you are not a VIP member of course). Although I cannot tell whether the increase in circulation of coins is a good thing or a bad thing as I am relatively a newbie :)

Yes, the hitdown glitch is true, but it'll be quite hard to fix due to the number of people who clicks on the button at the same time.

There will be a variety of different priced Promos at different occasions, however, there will be more average priced ones than expensive ones due to the fact we want to allow new players to be able to get the Promos at a low coin value.

Coin reset will not happen because sooner or later, it will just reach the same state. And I believe that training is so 'cheap' is not entriely the amount of coins fault, it's the fact that people are getting higher and higher levels, therefore much easier to train to a higher level. Since so many people have levels, they compete with each other and train for lower prices. This continues until it's low enough and people can't afford to lower it any more.

And, not to mention, donations rise up the amount of coins that gets released as well.

I think there are a couple of solutions to this:
-Like you said, decrease the amount of coins you get given on hitdown.
-Introduce something 'new' which would require players to pay coins which would be worth it.
-Change the current training system(now, it's just whatever level your highest Pokemon is, the poke you're attacking is 'x' times it).

That's what I think.

According to me if u guys decide to just reduce the prize of hitdown that will just kill any hope for the new players its already hard enough to get these pokemon are being overated. These so called "Veteran players" are planning to leave us on a stand still on one side they are raising the prizes of training and on the other hand they wana reduce the prize of hitdown where will it leave us. We will be stuck and the gap between us and those veteran players will rise and this game will no longer be fair

The reason why prizes are rising is because too many coins are being added.

If the coins are reduced, then maybe so will the training rates.

um that is true but this should happen in two steps:-
1. present a promo that costs like 1.5k - 2k for like 2-3 times as a one day promo (60-65 promos will be purchased)
2. lower the hitdown prices next..so it will become hard to earn coins and the promos even at 500 coins will look meaningful then.
