Adding Mail Attachments
I think a good idea would be to add mail attachments to pokemon. i.e. You put a pokemon in the Auction House and it has mail attached. It could advertise training, congratulate the person winning it, or practically anything. The mail would be send directly to the person's mailbox.
If it is spammed, you could make people pay a coin every time you attached mail.
