I think every player should have a rival. Every once in a while, the player is forced to battle their rival. The first time, the rival will have a level 10 pokemon, the second time, a level 50. Third time a level 100. Fourth time 150, and so on in 50 intervals. This makes sure that people keep training. The rival can appear anytime, except when the player is on hitdown, because that is not fair. :D If you log out when you are forced to battle the rival, the next time you log in, you will be forced to battle the rival. There is no penalty for logging out when forced to battle the rival, because some people have to go, and its not fair to punish them. If you lose the battle, you lose half of the money you have. That means the money you have on hand. Basically, you lose and the rival robs you. :D Rate this and give me your opinion.

I honestly don't see the point in this as a lot of players train anyways. Some can't even train at all, because of their Internet or computer. If they had to battle these trainers, then how would they be able to play, if they can't even battle in the first place. Really doesn't seem fair to me. I mean, I have a pretty quick Internet, so I really don't have to worry about anything. Thanks for the idea though.

Kind of a funny and nice idea but people can train easily on mysterious trainerxD

As alexrazorblade said, a lot of people train already. And money is easily obtainable, so it wouldn't matter if you lost the money. People would just put it in their bank, max cash if they were afraid of losing it.

Finally, I would be completely annoyed if I were just chilling around, and a trainer just popped out of no where, especially if I have my team of lvl 5s out. It's just too much to handle.

Honestly you already can make rivals yourself by just battling someone you have know in forums or chat. Plus because of a possible level difference, would actually make it a hassle if a 20k pokemon had to battle level 200's...you would just waste time that you could be leveling up your own pokemon.

Like kray said you can make rivars of anyone in creed or chat or forums..!
