Using either of those 2 will make the promo to cheap, to many ig, and worth almost nothing.

It cost coins so they are harder to get, and forum credits to prevent proxys. So 0/10 for your idea.

Kyogy, the forum credits would still apply, and the point value would be much higher. Yes, points are easy to obtain, but something worth 50 coins would be worth 5,000 points, or something like that. It would be fair I think

I know it would still apply, I'm just saying the 2 currencies that are current work better now then points and or money.
