This is the first sprite I've made so some constructive critsism is welcome. I'm not sure i got the colours quite right but here it is.

And how do you get the golden effect on gimp for golden pokemon?

1st thing 1st you saved it as a gif not a png

Make the canvas bigger for the effect

The grey and red looks fine from what I can see bit blury

To make a gold colourise the pokemon and look for a goldy colour :)

The golden pokemon on this website has black scratchy patches on them and i was wondering how you would do them?

Shadow raikou not bad at least it looks shadow the canvas needs to be bigger again and the wind effect is going to the side try having it go both ways :)

Hmm you have to redo the sprite for the png to take effect and for the gold use the gradient tool :)

I did the sprite in gimp so you save it after you have finished it so i don't see how it would make a difference. the gradient tool doesn't seem to create the right effect but i may not be using it right i guess.

edit: i was focussing to much on the golden giratina, the golden glaceon is a lot different and i can see how the gradient works now. thank you
