I get the idea of limiting donations ,but it wouldn't make very much sense. It is just like most online games. They get money to help run there site and do things and the players get a reward. Not everyone can donate or will donate ,but those who do should get the reward and it shouldn't just be limited because some people are willing to pour more money into a game to get more enjoyment from it. It doesn't actually take away from any other users enjoyment it is just like a members account versus a free account on some games. The members do have more to work with and more things but it doesn't take away from your own experience. It keeps the game running. It goes for a good cause and it's the players choice to donate or not. Still you can get just as many coins without donating it just involves playing chance games and spending your time on other things working to get them which in itself is just as fun an experience for the player.

But people who do donate spend hundreds of dollars on the coins, and then they hoard them. That isn't helping the economy at all. Alan has made quite a few mistakes lately.

well that their choice if they want to hoard them, maybe they want to save them for something rare that might pop up on the Auction House, like the ShadowMew that was on it a few weeks back or try to trade for a rare from someone who owns it. Why should they spend their coins on common promos when there an changes of getting an rare pokemon. It the same ways when people hoard pokemon, some people wont trade their hoards for common stuffs.

What would help the economy if people didn't rate all the rares so high, like CursedArceus, I seen people rate that over 1.2 million coins.

I do have a idea that might help though will the coins issue, instead of getting coins from Donating, you get a colored pokemonthat isn't in the game yet from the it, the more money you donate at the time the rarer the pokemon will be example:

If you donate (these pokemon are just example):
$2.97, you get ShinyHeracross
$5.97, you get ShinyRegirock or ShinyRegisteel (it will be random)
$8.27, you get CursedHo-oh or CursedLugia (it will be random)
$14.97, you get CursedDialga or CursedPalkia
(it will be random)
$19.97, you get LuminousCelebi or LuminousJirachi (it will be random)
$29.97, you get LuminousEntei or LuminousRaikou or LuminousSuicune (it will be random)
$39.97, you get ShadowManaphy or ShadowPhione (it will be random)
$49.97, you get ShadowGiratina or Shadow Shaymin (it will be random)
$99.97, you get RainbowTornadus or RainbowThundurus or RainbowLandorus (it will be random)
$199.97, you get GoldenZekrom or GoldenReshiram or Goldenkyurem (it will be random)
