i am wondering how the experience per battle is conducted.
i have a level 2076 infernape and gain just over 1.4mil exp per battle.
i was wondering if someone could give me an estimate on how long/ how many battles it would take to reach level 5k.

Um every level i get 40,000 more exp
but that is cause i beat the Mystery Trainer
i think you would get maybe 2,000 more exp maybe 4,000 exp

^before i sold my level 4.7k i only got 90mill exp per battle. taking me at 90mill per battle 5days too train a 5k. so at 1.4mill a battle. prob a year o.O

You need 125,000,000,000 exp to get a level 5k Pokemon. :D

battling the mysterious trainer will surely help you a lot more, but remember you have to beat all the gyms first.

if u want.. use random swap an turn you're lvl 2k+ in to a golurk.. then u can beat that zapdos.. over an over.. u can train like 2 more golurks to 1k.. an then use them to get it down cos it will miss alot on u.

no. i forgot to update once i got toxic i am training against the mystery trainer now and gaining 79mil exp a battle

The experience you receive is the opponent's level ^1.7.
If you train Mysterious Trainer you can do 200-500 levels a day, if you train on other npc's it takes much longer.

Yeah make sure to use a golurk against mysterious trainer since golurk is mostly immuned to the mews attacks and then you will gain way more exp than beating the npc battle places
