Level EXP Gain Formula
IF you pick a level cap, then it should definetely be over the highest leveled pokemon, which is zapdos' level 43k g.rayquaza. I think lvl 50k wouldn't be too bad, since I am already tired of training and stopped at lvl 40k, I think maybe zapdos wouldn't mind stopping at level 50k, just a guess.
For the gained exp part, you could just change the exp to opponent's level to the power of 1.6. That would give someone who has a lvl 10k and battles a lvl 100k mew 100 mill exp, and someone who has a lvl 40k 918,958,684 exp. So to train from level 10000 to level 10001 you need to do ~3 battles and to train from level 40000 to level 40001 you need to do 5/6 battles. That's already harder and would reduce the gained exp a lot, I wouldn't like it but as you said you wanted to make it harder. But of course that would be unfair to the player who don't have such a high leveled pokemon, because for them it's now harder to train to that level. That's why I'm actually against reducing the gained exp. About the trading / loan / auction caps, you should definitely add an auction cap, because high levels are auctioned over there and go under their rate all the time, which ruins the training rate a lot. You could increase the trading rate to lvl 4999 + 10% of the Trainerlevel, since there are already so many higher leveled pokemon and new players can only receive such low levels. Level 3k pokemon are pretty worthless by now. The auction cap would be the same or maybe a little bit higher, not sure. And then you could pick a loaning cap over the trading/auction/races cap, so that new players or player who need help can loan even higher levels, maybe lvl 5999 + 10% of the Trainerlevel. That's just a suggestion. I was trying hard to think of something good but it's very difficult to keep it fair for everyone, might have to make it harder and see how it developes. But I think increasing the trading/loaning cap is neccessary to make it easier for newer players. "Admiration is the furthest thing from understanding" ~Aizen to Hitsugaya. |

For auction limits i think their shouldnt be any because some pokes would be to high forevery one and zap or crix could get em for 2 coins and
that is mostly how people get high pokes auction house that is why it should be the same

True, the auction cap should be the same for everyone, forgot to think of that.

If there is an auction limit, I agree that it should be the same for everyone. As for the trade cap, I find it to be a bit much that you have people like zapdos and Crixus91 who do train a lot and have a very high trainer level but all they get out of it is not even 1/4th of the training they've done. I think if you were to increase the trade cap, I find you should maybe increase the % that people get from your trainer level. As for the EXP in battle, since I don't train a lot anymore, what Crixus91 said about changing it to 1.6 is pretty good to me, from the sounds of it.

Level EXP Gain Formula
In my opinion, we should not have an EXP/ Level cap. It would limit gameplay and as a result, people would stop playing the game when they reach the maximum.
I think that EXP should be gained x^1.7, where x= opponent's pokemon, like you said. It would make it a bit harder to train. I propose that trading and loaning cap should be x^1.02, so new players cannot get or get a loan on level 3000s so fast.(Requires a trainer level of roughly 2500.) They would need to train hard first. As for auction limits, I think it should stay the same. People need to work hard for coins (unless they gamble or donate) and therefore would be able to get a strong pokemon. Again, new players would not be able to get the stronger pokemon easily because they would need lots of coins. That's all. :) [you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images][you must login to view images] GET RAVIN', NERDS [you must login to view images] [you must login to view images] [you must login to view images] |

Level EXP Gain Formula

That's zapdos' and/or Da Man's choice tho I would say, since zapdos is the closest to lvl 50k. Not 1.7, I said 1.6. New players should get higher levels than they can now, it's hard enough already for them to even get started. You don't have to work hard for coins, some have super luck in the 50/50 game or others just donate, auction house is kinda ruining the training rate. Seeing as people have taken all their time to level their Pokemon as high as they are, changing the level/exp formula will prob make them complain
Making level cap will be useless Just change the current training system, ie have less exp gained from battles. Seeing as the highest currently is 43k, make exp be cube root of level of opponent pokemon. Or have an exp max of 200,000 exp per battle [you must login to view images] -First person to beat the Elite Four. -First Pokdex God. Spoiler: |

It's hard to train right now unless someone else will train for you. Maybe have a special day or two where people can get double exp for limited time only just a suggestion :)

Anarchy, I disagree. Training rates would be even lower... -.-

Level EXP Gain Formula
An exp max would be very very bad, high level trainers like zapdos or me could get the same as other lower level trainers, it would make me mad tbh, because that is why we trained so high; To get such a big amount of experience, more than the others.

Who cares if nub's complain XD. BTW our current lv's would be reverted too right? O,o that makes me a bit sad but i'll live

No level cap, but decreased training rates as you increase levels. So when you have high level Pokemon, they are harder to level.
My Training Rates!
100 Coins Per Billion 6000 Points Per Billion 1 Shiny Per Billion 100 Coins Per Colored Pokemon Per Billion HOWEVER, if you are a member of Creed Defiance, these would be your rates. 50 Coins Per Billion 3000 Points Per Billion 1 Shiny Per 2 Billion 50 Coins Per Colored Pokemon Per Billion |

Level caps are actually a good idea, in my opinion. But many players would quit because having really high levels is what is fun.
