Exp Accrual Problem
So I'm training a pokemon from lvl 5 onward. I gain about 56 exp and about 7-8 I gain about 68 exp. I noticed that when I reach level 10-11, I'm only receiving 59 exp. Now I know that there's a new exp rate, but is this how it suppose to be?

Oh? I think that's a bug. Did you try on other NPCs?

I haven't I've only tried battling myself. And I battled myself multiple times. Maybe it might be the mechanics, but I just wanted to make sure.

Try battle at the NPC. I think there's a mechanic on the EXP system. The higher the level the bigger the EXP it gives.

This might be a bug, but that might be one of the perks of training, getting less xp as you level up...

ahm if you are training a ghost type the bird trainer is the ideal one since it cant hit you because normal move do not affect the ghost type pokemon. hope that would help you. yes it is really a bug.

I will break through the limits

To be honest i'm not sure why that is as i haven't seen many players battle them self before,go to the NPC fights and battle swimmer richard and use the move bolt strike you'll get more exp by doing that.

I battled the NPC Bug catcher. At level 5 I got 44 exp. At level 6 I got 56 exp. Also at level 7 I got 68 exp. At 9 I got 82 exp. And at level 10 I got 50 exp. Finally at level 11 I got 59 exp. These are all per battle and battling the same pokemon weedle. So this might be a mechanics or may be a bug. But if this is how it works now, it just means that at certain levels, we just have to train a lot more. Thanks everyone for contributing and letting me know!

Lol you were battling and were increasing but then suddenly you fell from 68 exp to directly 50 exp. Did you try battling after you fell to 50 exp?
