Will there be a time that the items sold in stores be upgraded or updated? Some of the items especially the potions(except the max potion which is overpriced) which worth a lot of coins have virtually no use as of now.

Are the scarf's bonuses constant or by percentage? Because I don't feel any boost at all when equipping them (pink scarf for def) so I believe they just give a constant bonus or is it just that stats do not exist?

I don't know if stones are required to evolve as of now but I think they serve not much use but are given massively in lucky dips.

I hope the old items will be updated soon so that they will have some use ingame :D

No i dont think there will be an update i think most items are fine though but dont take the answer from me

X| yeah, i think the fact you don't feel the scarves is because you train against uber high lv'd poke (10x your lv etc.)
However, the stones do have a small use (evee) not too much though...

I think lvl 1k poke is already common for every trainer in here lol.

The items would have use if the level cap was 100. But since it has even reached levels up to 40k, I thought that they should also be boosted so that they just don't waste space here. A good update would be making their effects by percentage rather than fixed values to adapt for the no level cap pokemons.
