You can also sell pokemon at the auction house, you can join a clan and train to get coins from the clan rewards, and sell items at the item market. Hope this helps.

there is a way but you must join a clan first.
so after you join a clan there is a section in the clan called (Clan Rewards)
for every 10M Clan Exp and 1M cash it gives you 10 coins.

Hmm, everybody here forgets about Forum Credits. Each Credit is worth 3 Coins. To find out how to get Forum Credits, click on Forum Credits in the left corner in the Forums. Daily Raffle can also help. It's kind of hard, but if you get first prize, you get 1000 Coins! Also, the Lucky Dip works, but remember, you can get Pokémon, Items, Points, Money and Coins, so don't expect it to be easy to get Coins there. I hope that I helped.
