what does buying a home do give you coins or does it work for item finder and such?

It's for planting berries, there are no house items atm.

ahhh i see and id have to pick up berries at the store correct? and im assuming pokemon can hold them after they've been harvested?

You plant them, wait until the they grow and they give out 2 berries when it grows, it just stays there until you pick it up.

shadexeon - You get berries from using an Itemfinder or Dowsing Machine on Maps.
You can also buy them off players or from the Item Market.

You can buy a house and plant berries in the garden to sell or use at your convenience.

Houses give you a garden (the size depends on our house) which you can grow berry bushes. After you get your berries you can sell, use or keep them. When you buy a new house 75% of what you paid for the old one comes back to you. Hope this helped!!!
