There isn't really any easy way, But getting it as promo winning a auction or trading are probably the best ways.

There shouldn't be easier ways the get colors. New trainers what color pokemons usually just want to sell them for coins. But if everyone can get them easily, the price of the color pokemon will decrease by a lot and sooner or later, they'll worth as much as shinies or normal pokemons.

the easiest way is to get a colored pokemon from is Auction House. some pokemons get sold at really cheap price. i dont think there is an easier way..

I dont think it should be easier to get them. The way to get them now is perfectly fine, if everything was so easy to obtain nothing would have value and we would have no use for coins or trades so i think waiting for promos or trading with others and entering contest is great enough

Not sure what's the easiest way but...Promo and Auction House seem your best bet. Just be sure to have enough coins is all.
