Was already suggested. Name changing would confuse people when they try searching people. And could make a lot of scams happen by changing to certain names.

Here's something that none of you have thought about. A Username AND a Nickname. A Nickname that only your friends can see and your Username. 10/10.

this has already been suggested before and i think its of no use and why wud u choose a username that u dont like in the first place?

No what would be a good idea is to be able to add notes next to peoples name. That way when you add your friends to your friends list, you can add little notes so that no matter the name, the id will remain the same and your note next to their current name. Like i said before no matter the name change the id number wont ever change. So noobs cant pose as Zapdos or Crixus because by looking at the id number you would clearly see its a trick.
