are poison from sludge and poison from toxic different? in game, toxics effect increases on each turn, and poison effect remains same.

The effect of the inflicted poison from either of the moves is the same.

but, in games, toxic's effect worsens each turn. like, if sludge takes away 30 hp of one pokemon it will take only 30hp each turn. but, if toxic is used, it will take 30first, then 40, then 50 and so on. so, in creed, they are same?
