In my experience of being a clan leader, I get swarmed with PMs asking about the idea. It's time consuming and confusing, most of the time. So, what I suggest is that there should be a PM mailbox for the clan. It should be in the clan main menu and it will have a blinking asterisk when there are new PMs. So that the clan leader won't be swarmed, he/ she will be allowed to choose other clan members to be allowed to view and answer the clan PMs. And that's all, mainly. I'm sure this could be useful also people with powers like in the clan should be able to check the box as well but not just anyone should be able to check it preventing false information to go around.
If other people could check it would be a lot less work for the clan owner.

It's a great idea but it kinda reminds me of the clan forum. They'd have very similar jobs.
