I've noticed a lot of spam in forums so heres my suggestion to cut down on some of it.

I suggest there should be like a spam detector in forums. Like say someone post multiple threads with the same content or name. The system will prevent anymore being posted and could ban the user for doing so, or delete the threads automatically so it will be gone. Or have a system that reads all your words before posting. And scans to see if a ton of spam or copied and pasted messages are posted by other users. And preventing that post from going up so the user will not get a post or a credit. This could cut down on a ton of spam and save staff time of banning people spamming.

I agree. Lately I've seen way too much spam that it's not funny, same thread names, same thing posted over and over, it gets annoying. 9/10

Yeah, like everyday someone spams, and it doesn't only annoy staff it annoys other people. Staffs not on 24/7 to watch forums so a ton of spamming happens lately. This suggestion to reduce spamming by a lot, and save staff and peoples time.

Agree on this especially in auto deleting thread because spammers still posting on very old threads even in the contest and market section.

It would be good if that could ever be added to the game as i agree lately things have been getting out of hand with spamming

Very difficult to make as the spammers can just type a letter different and the spam bot would not detect it.

Making spam bots are difficult, as once people find out how it works, they can easily work their way around it.

Well, of course it would have to multiple random letters, such as 8-12, since people can typo a lot. And this could stop people from spamming their way to get credits for a promo.

Get rid of the Forum Credits. They're dumb, just like the one who came up with that idea. Creed is doing well, why pushing it?

There is no way of pointing out spam to an extent of banning someone. I think it should only ban people if they put the same things over and over. Not if they post with lots of spaces etc.

Well, they try using spaces to get more characters in a way you can't really notice. And forum credits is a reward system for being active in forums, promos require them to reduce proxying and keep forums active. But now tons of people are spamming to get credits, so they added you must atleast have 50 posts to start earning credits. But that's not working so.

I agree. That is a big problem however people are infact sneaky enough to keep on making spaces in to ensure more characters. They should introduce something where you can only make 1 space between the words you make unless you are the one making the post.

@Leighton Dude, the only reason why we're both posting here is, because we want that darn promo, isn't? So this is basically spam. The admin got ALOT definitions of spam, btw.

But it's not our fault. we're forced to if we want that promo. And I want it.

Most people are mainly posting here to give their feedback or comments on the idea, not really for credits.
