okay, the title explains most, the old house is currently useless, so how about making some use of it? it can be used in any way, maybe a new npc, or it can be team rocket secret base, or a person who sells some items, or a place where we get missions. it can be used in so many ways, so, should it be like it is right now(useless), or it should be put into use?

it was used for the halloween event now i think it ll only be used then.

yup, i didn't know it was used for halloween, but since it is used for that time, it can still be used always. i know most people didn't understand previous line, let me explain with an example-
every month, there will be events and a storyline, which can be done only once. completing them would be hard, and they will always be unique. during the time of halloween, it can be related to ghosts, or something like that.
an example-
You walk into the old house. There, you see a sick person lying on his bed. As you approach him, a lady comes in and demands for battle
(NPC fight here, if you lose, you get kicked out of the house, otherwise you move ahead. her team is strong)
She says her father has been lying sick ever since he went to ghost town. Then, she requires you to get a certain item for her, which can be found in ghost town for this event. You get it and give to her. Suddenly, out of the man's body, a Darkrai appears. You battle it, defeat it and get thanked by the man and his daughter. And then you receive the pokemon Darkrai.
This is just an example, of course better events/mission/storyline will be used.
It will make old house interesting and useful too. And the reward can be anything, a pokemon isn't necessary.

Personally I feel the old house should be left alone unless it's for some kind of event. There are plenty of battles that we have the option to choose from already. So I dislike this idea.

I did, that's why I said it should be left alone and not be a every day type thing. When the opportunity arises for an event I feel it's the perfect place for it; and if it's exhausted before that, there is no point of making it a event location.

I think it should only be used for the Halloween contest just like in the games. Meaning to get darkrai only.

lol old house shouldnt be that useful since you can by a better house by upgrading.

originally, it is there for once an year, for halloween, which is why it can be put into better use. every month, there will be an event, and at halloween, it will b related to ghosts, so it will turn into event house. and, those events will be like storyline, so that will be even more interesting, and people will have to do it seriously, because if they don't do it properly, they will fail the event and won't get anything. and it can be done once, and every month there will be a new event, so it will be fun.

dont agree because then it would take a lot of work to do.. every month..
