how do I fight pokemon

You cant fight with the pokemons while catching,u just want to select the ball and throw the ball to catch...

to train as a strter go to npc fight (swimmer richards), as a pro go train mysterious trainer in ur town
u cant battle and catch a pokemon ..u can use pokeball :0

You can battle trainers but not pokemons in map.

You can't fight pokemon, you can only catch them straight with a poke ball, kind of weird, but that's how it work.
