Thanking the thread on graphics tutorials is just a way to prevent letchers..i wonder wot is the problem in thanking the guy who made that thread..

thanking even before seeing it? what if you don't find it useful? so what if i made something like that just to earn thanks? so what is the problem if some lechers see that? isn't that the use of tutorials? to teach some other people..

Good post and to a certain extent, I agree. Thanking a post without even getting a chance to view it is rather pointless. People say that thanking a post is to prevent spamming and leeching.

the only reason you have to thank a thread in Graphics Tutorials and Resources is to prevent lechers..anyone can view the forums even if they are not registered to this site..I think that's the main reason

Thanking others make the tread creator good but it is annoying to find thanking first before gaining something
