i don't think it affects your game play but i just feel slightly disappointed almost all my pokes hate me and one of the pokes i hardly used seems to like me i don't understand how you make your poke happy anyone have any ideas/suggestion about how i can make my pokes be happier.

the longer you leave the pokemon on your roster the happier it gets,take them off your roster the happiness drops back down the longer it's off your roster
