Since sometimes we want to look at people's profiles on forums, I thought if there was a button to search the player.

I think it already has in forums.
In Forum Search, then you can fill up the Thread Author, I think that has the same function as search player.

Well if they didn't post any thread that mean that person didn't post any threads and there is a search on forum search

Not necessary.
Just go to any person's profile and replace their username with the one whom you want to search from the URL.

i would give this 5/5 because it could be useful but could just be a pointless thing to add and clog up the game

Thread Author name can be searched. Its the same as Search player i think. Not need tbh.

it might be good to but i think there is already in the authors name , but your idea make it easier to search players so 9/10
