(How people are probably looking at Rima weird because it looks like she's talking to herself reminds me of a moment in Shugo Chara. So, normal people can't see guardian characters, and the main character was repeating what they said IN PUBLIC, and the guardian characters called someone a 'fart' so the main character said 'yeah, he's a fart!' and then everyone was like, 'She just said 'fart' in public!'.
