pokemon racing 2

Sorry to ask this again but i did everything that zapdos told me to do to race but still i can't get to race pokemons that are shiny or colored. I tend to race them with my shiny pokemons but still does not work. Help?

iirc you can only race the same poke.
eg. A shinypikachu can race against a shinypikachu.
The same goes for colored pokes.
