What determines your trading cap? Also, can you bid on pokemon over your trainer level?

your trainer level determines your trading cap:
Trainer Level 0-500 = trading cap level 500 Trainer Level 500-10000 = trading cap = Trainer level Trainer Level 10000-14999 = trading cap level 10000 Trainer Level 15000-19999 = trading cap level 11000 Trainer Level 20000-29999 = trading cap level 12500 Trainer Level 30000+ = trading cap level 15000 and no you can't bid on something that is higher then what your trading cap is meaning if trainer level is 6000 and you see a pokemon on the Auction House that is at level 7500, you wont be able to bid on it since your trading cap is 6000.
