If you complete the tasks then you will be rewarded some lab credits or coins so on. For what you choose the task, then due to that you will be rewared. If you ask a task for coins, if you completed it you will be given coins. If you ask the task for lab credits, after completing it you will be rewarded lab credits from that you can purchase some shadow/rainbow pokeball. Hope it helped you.
