I grabbed Python again and slashed at his head fericely and quickly, if he was to block the sword would either snap in half or go flying far out of reach

I completely ignored Ray and grabbed Python and swung him into Ray's attack (I just wanna see what'll happen if it hits :P)

Python evaporated as soon as he came in contact with the attack. (There's your answer, Ray's mega-move, the evaporation ray, touch it and POOF)
