I opened the door, was given 12 packages and put them down. "Aero, pause your TV show, I want you to help me decorate. It's December the 18th and I want to decorate for Christmas, wanna help?" I ask.

Aero awkwardly flopped out of her chair, popping the back of the remote and flipping her pancakes on the ground in the process. "OF COURSE!!!" She said, eyes shining excitedly.
(That is so totally me. XD)

I used my magic to clean up the little mess she made with the pancakes. "I've this really neat tree, if you tap the bottom- it glows different lights. It's an evergreen I cut from a magical, forbidden forest place." I say.

Aero was already admiring it. "I can see it now... Sparkling lights, beautiful ornaments, presents..." She closed her eyes, as if she saw it in her dreams.

"Christmas is the bestest time of the year of all time!" She said matter-o-factly.

I shrugged. "I celebrate Christmas to be happy, I'm not nonreligious, ya know. Also, there's something wrong with your eyes." I state.

"Me neither. My parents never celebrated it... But the idea of celebrating such a small thing with family and friends, spreading cheer and giving gifts... It always sounded nice." She hesitated, but then began gathering baking supplies.
