I carefully crept down and examined the objects. I knew I'd seen them before-I've always been good with devices of all sorts-but I couldn't put a finger on it.

Jeff stumbled upwards and tried getting back to an Allied base.

Suddenly, it dawned on me.
"Everyone! Evacuate the base!" I yelled, running in with my arms flailing to get everyone's attention.

Jeff heard and tried to run out of the base, but collapsed.

I spotted someone collapse, and I ran over to help them.

Jeff tried to get up, to no avail.

"Let me help." I said, holding out my hand to the Arcanine.

Jeff grabbed (forgot her name) hand. "Thank you." He said.

"No problem." I said. "Do you need help with walking?"

"Yeah, I can't fell my right leg." Jeff said.

"Don't worry." I said, going to his right and allowing him to use me as support.

"Thank you." He said.

"No need to thank me." I said. "Us Allied Forces have to look after each other."

Jeff quick pushed Rose to the ground. A bullet hit a tree right above their heads. "Oh no, Angus is back." Jeff said.

"Malum?" I guessed, grimacing.
