"Go ahead and blow me up, and see if I care." At this point, she didn't care about death--her mind was solely set on keeping him away from the gun.

"You sure about that?" Jackal said and pulled out a detonater

Destra briefly hesitated, then did something that was probably both the bravest and the dumbest thing she ever did in her life.

She ran up to him and used Iron Tail.

The move knocked Jackal back to the ground, he dropped the detonater

Destra picked up the detonator in her mouth to make sure that Jackal doesn't get a hold of it.

Jackal slowly pulled himself up

Destra's tail glowed in an another Iron Tail, should Jackal attempt to attack.

Jackal threw a live grenade onto the ground

Destra jumped back as the grenade was thrown, and it exploded, blasting her into the ground. The Umbreon stood back up, dazed.

Jackal was badly burnt lying on the ground

Snapping out of daze, she saw the human lying on the ground, covered with burns.

Jackal lifted his head up, scanning for the gun

He's still alive, Destra thought. Even though he was severely burned, Destra knew he could still pose a threat.

Jackal turned and looked at his shotgun and reached for it

Destra began heading towards the shotgun to stop Jackal.
