"I know how to survive." I say.

"So did Matt Vaughn." Edward said

"Well, not everything is the same. Sometimes, you have to trust yourself," I say, landing at a little house.

"I don't trust anyone, not even myself." Edward said

"I used to be that way, it almost got me killed. Trust yourself and things will be better." I say.

"How can I trust a killer?" Edward said

"I... I was forced.. You think I wanted more than half of my family to be slaughtered by the one who caused this mess? You think I wanted to look people in the eyes and kill them? Experience PTSD? I'm not asking you for your trust, just don't mock me," I say.

"I wasn't mocking you, Im talking about myself." Edward aaid

"Well, everyone does things they regret. It's hard to let go of the past, but you saved them from this hell of a world," I say.

"I do not consider being responsible for the death of every one of my friends something to 'let go'." Edward said. "No matter how hard I try, I cannot unsee Leonard Hawkins saying. 'Damn you to hell, SGT. Alverara, Damn you to hell.'"

"That's really tough to take in..." I say. "It isn't something you let go. But it's not something to give your life on. You saved Alice's life, from what I know. And maybe those spirits will eventually forgive you." I say.

"If they would forgive me then why don't they leave me alone." Edward said

"Hallucinations," I mutter. "Don't worry I have them too."

"Do they ever stop?" Edward said

"They will. They're very rare for me now, but... They eventually leave," I say.
