As what catherpro said. Train :D
Just go to NPC trainer. Have your pokemon learn a electric move and fight the Intermediate Trainers. This is basically for beginners. |

or can be the bird trainer if you are using a ghost type since it can not be hit by a normal type attack. hope it will help you. or train in the training gym it is like 85-100 coins per billion training.

training is the only way to get ur pokemon and ur trainer level fast.and like jarenn said go fight mysterious trainer or zapdosarticunomoltress are the best to train.
