Remove trade caps in Auction House
Title says most of it.
Trade caps is good in loaning, etc. but it is not good in Auction House, cause if you put a high level like 11k, then if a person who has a trade cap above it puts 1 coin, then he gets it and the effort gets wasted, if the trade caps are removed then there will be a big fight over the pokemon.
So if the trade caps are removed then Auction House will get better, btw if a person has to get a pokemon above his trade caps he/she has to spend more coins.

Credit goes to some of my friends in chatroom.

Ranstormer its going to be hard to switch because Da Man himself thought it was necessary to save hard working trainers from people that can just buy their way through the system

yeah but then what if a person puts a lvl 11k, then the high level trainer will offer like 1 or 2 coins and it is his. Then the hard worked member's hard work goes to the dustbin.

The cap was made for a reason. I find it pointless how so many threads are made about this same topic.

Remove trade caps in Auction House
kyogy - i totally agree with the caps so far, except on Auction House, i want to put lvl 5k, etc. on Auction House but i'll get somewhere about 1k for them. I want to sell high level pokemon. Also if a person need to buy a high level he needs to spend many coins. Also i can't see any good happening after trade caps are added into Auction House, all i see is that i can't risk putting my high level pokemon in AH for small amount of coins.

Before Closing this thread i ask the person who closes it to give 1 very good reason that trade caps should be allowed in AH

I think yes, the trade cap for Auction House should be removed because there's almost a cap for everything which restricts the possibility of people succeeding on this game. It's quite boring to train from scratch to get your trainer level up so that you can trade. So if they have the coins, they should beable to buy Pokemon that are higher than their trainer level so that they won't have to train from boring low levels.

5/10, new cap is good already( Makes it harder for new ppl to get higher leveled pokemon without training). It would be nice to put the leveled pokemon for sale though, but I still think the cap on AH is ok P:

Ranstormer ctually has some pretty contextual points. this could at least return high leve auctions to their former glory

Honestly, reputationn shows nothing for a player. You could have high reputation and be themost mean spririted person on creed or the otheer way around.

See, even Dualot agrees with me, Auction House is one way to get incomes.

Trade Caps in AH is ruining the Auction little by little.

@ Rich - but if this continues, soon there will be no high level pokemon in AH and the incomes of many people will stop.

The whole point of this game is to train/trade/buy/sell. Putting any limits on any of this is pointless. It doesn't help the economy of a game if lower level trainers are limited in any way. It only hinders it.
Here's some examples:
1. Someone wants to loan out my level 17k for an hour for 200 coins and train their pokemon with it. They can't do this because their trainer level is only 7000. They want to do the work and also want a little push while doing it. Now the cap just ruined that deal. (I've seen this happen a few times.)
2. Someone who was an old player that has come back to the game and has tons of older, rare pokemon now wants to get their hands on a level 12k pokemon. I want to trade my level 12k to them for some of those rare pokemon, but wait, I can't do that because they only have a trainer level of 4000 and now both myself and the other player just lost out on making a trade. (I've actually seen this one happen on several times.)
3. I want to race someone's level 2000 pokemon with my level 4000 pokemon and have a chance at winning or losing a pokemon just based on luck. Well it turns out I can't do that because their trainer level is too low for me to race them. (I have also seen this happen a few times.)

So, to be very blunt, every limit you put on the games in terms of levels and trading is doing the exact opposite of what it should be doing: letting people trade/buy/sell/gamble their pokemon. There is no good reason for any trading cap in a game where the whole point is to trade and train.
