I think that when a player gets banned they should have there pokemon removed because what is really annoying is when if your searching for a pokemon and find someone with loads of that pokemon, you click on them to make the trade but then there banned. This will also make pokemon more valuable.

Another idea could be to put there pokemon on the auction house, or send them to staff so that the pokemon are still in play, and there value does not go up.

They are doing this already...

All banned Pokemon goes to the Contest Account 133t.

But what about when the user gets unbanned when they give proof that they didn't break a rule or something, that would be unfair that their pokemon got deleted. It also doesn't matter if the pokemon is deleted or in a banned account, because either way they are still rare.
