I need to level up Pokemon fast

I want to level up Pokemon quickly but i dont know how! And please explain how to level up Pokemon fast Easy to understand.

Change one of the moves on your pokemon to Bolt Strike then go to the NPC fights and battle Swimmer Richard (the first one in the Intermediate Trainers),its slow at first but its the quickest way to train at first.
