"Let's get back to the van and he can tell us what's going on." Sonic said, gesturing to the boy.

"What's going on? You know?"
"Well, apparently he thought my mom liked me better than him, so he turned evil and ended up murdering her. I ran away, and he thought I'd tell on him, so he hunted me down." he began.
"WELL THAT ESCALATED QUICKLY." I commented.
Stevie nodded.
"And he ended up catching me, but he had no idea who I told, so he started rounding up all these innocent civilians. He decided to experiment on them - horrible experiments - to try to see what would hurt me the most." Stevie started crying.
"I-I didn't even do anything wrong!"
"That is SOO wrong!" I yelled.
"This kid is like 7-
"8!"
"-8 and is getting treated like this! NOT COOL."

"He DOES want to kill me in the worst way possible, but there's more to his plot. I-I really don't know what though. He never told me..."
