Thank you for your opinions guys, it's just that I'm certain that a newbie will never be as rich as anyone on the first page of rankings if Creed keeps on going this way. This will discourage them and will eventually lead to them either leaving, cheating or if they're really ambitious, just playing legitimately. I'd think that if they did neither of these, they'd race their pokemon or just 50/50 trade, two ways people can lose their pixels very easily. I know one or two that have already quit due to losing their pixels, but that was of their own accord to be honest.

Nice speech Vicky.
I agree with the 3 box choice idea. And I say Trading Cap should not be removed as if its removed than the Pokemons level will be maximized to Lvl 15k And if someone reaches 15k then they would not have anymore goal. Then it would all become boring again. And Secondly look at us we all were Newbs Haven't we all worked hard. Did people who has a 20k had it from the beginning? Well No. Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. Thnx for this Oscah. [you must login to view images] [you must login to view images] |

champ kid, as I said before, moderators will take care of that. What's to stop them from making accounts for the small amount of coins they get given now? :/ Yes, I think an idea would be that a random pokemon from l33t could be put in the daily raffle on every 1st of every month.
DV, the game used to be much easier. People could trade for levels freely, there were contests and all. I think the trading cap should be increased as xpietju said "2999 + 50%" instead of the current system. It was just an idea, hopefully Da Man will see this and possibly improvise. Dubstep > Rock |

Thanks and LOL yes, it should apply to everyone if it's introduced to be honest. It's not fair how staff can trade up to any level but members cannot.

I can see where Vicky is heading to :), I started pokemoncreed last week, told all my friends about, but after a few days it was just getting too hard to raise a team over level 100, after searching for pokemon to buy from players I met Crixus91 and he was kind enough to give me 3 lv1000 goletts. If it were not for him, I would have gotten over trying to spend a whole month trying to get strong pokemon to actually compete with others. The coin sytem is really difficult too, all the most important items in the game are way too expensive. Iv only managed to get a max of 300 coins even though I've been playing non-stop. I'm still far off from getting an exp share or stuff like that to aid in my training. Having to rely on someone else to train your pokemon really takes the fun and effort out of playing the game, and you miss out on a bunch of trainer level ups. I agree with Vicky when she says newbies loose motivation. I'm pretty sure people who can't devote a lot of time to the game would just give up, leaving their accounts to waste space on the site. There are 2 solutions to counter this: 1- either make items (not pokemon) a little bit more easier or cheaper to get, or 2- give all users who have just signed up a larger amount of coins to get themselves going. It would surely increase the amount of users who will stay loyal to the site. People like zapdos and others never really had over 10000+ users to compete with back when they joined so they didn't have much problem getting to where they are today. But for newcomers, its almost an impossibility to be ranked amongst them, thus motivation is lost and the will to quit is forced on them.

Its not such a major crisis for us :) but to have more loyal newbies would really help increase the diversity in the game :) the game isn't only about ourselves, there are other hardcore poke-fans out there too, and to meet new and old pokemon lovers is really one of the best things in the world! BIG LOVE FOR POKEMON :D:D:D:D:D

I solo trained my level five LuminousRiolu to level a 1.8k LuminousLucario over the course of a year. The reason: Ambition. I persevered. This game teaches people how to manage money and how to persevere. Think of it this way, you start life out of college with a few thousand dollars (in terms American currency as I am most familiar with it), a car, a degree, and a car. With what you have, you get a job, buy a house, and make a living. This can all be applied to Creed. You start out the game with a few thousand dollars and thirty coins. Your degree, is your knowledge about Pokemon. The job you get, is training Pokemon. The stock market, is all of the Pokemon in existence in the game. Between being ambitious with your job and investing wisely when buying promos, you can become rich like some of the other players out there. These people are the upper class in Creed and may choose to help other members out in becoming upper class. The middle class is the group of players who have average leveled Pokemon and a descent amount of coins and currency in general. As you can see, this game, when looked at a certain way, is very much based on real life finance. Your proposal is that we give all new players the upper hand at being upper class. If everyone started out with 500 coins, 500 would be worth about as much as 30 coins is now. When that happens, rich players would become middle class and therefore would have been punished for being wise in investing. I see running the economy of Creed like this as unfair to long-time players.
