That is so true Vicky, If there is a Trading cap it should apply to everyone.

If it were not for him, I would have gotten over trying to spend a whole month trying to get strong pokemon to actually compete with others. The coin sytem is really difficult too, all the most important items in the game are way too expensive. Iv only managed to get a max of 300 coins even though I've been playing non-stop. I'm still far off from getting an exp share or stuff like that to aid in my training. Having to rely on someone else to train your pokemon really takes the fun and effort out of playing the game, and you miss out on a bunch of trainer level ups. I agree with Vicky when she says newbies loose motivation. I'm pretty sure people who can't devote a lot of time to the game would just give up, leaving their accounts to waste space on the site. There are 2 solutions to counter this: 1- either make items (not pokemon) a little bit more easier or cheaper to get, or 2- give all users who have just signed up a larger amount of coins to get themselves going. It would surely increase the amount of users who will stay loyal to the site. People like zapdos and others never really had over 10000+ users to compete with back when they joined so they didn't have much problem getting to where they are today. But for newcomers, its almost an impossibility to be ranked amongst them, thus motivation is lost and the will to quit is forced on them.

DJblindz is right, and I think it's good to see the opinion of a player, who just joined a while ago.

quseft, I like your comparison :D Some aspects of life can be found in creed as well, you gotta work hard to be at the top.

Yes, but I know for sure, that if I was getting nowhere in life, no matter how hard I tried, no matter how much effort I put in, I wouldn't feel great about it.

Hmm by now i think trading caps should not removed, high levels would go round and round. There are trainers who do training jobs or people should just train theirself :o I've seen a lot people training their pokes up on a long period lately, so it's just the people's ambition which decides how far they come.
