"Just put it on my tab." Edward said and chuckled.

Curtis flung open the door. "Can I help you?" Curtis said

Chiaki became very scared. "H-hello Curtis... It's me.. Uh... Chalky?" Chiaki stammered, remembering how everyone would call her Chalky and whip chalk at her.

"The kid who blew me off because of my brother?" Curtis said

"I came to a-a-apologize about t-that...." Chiaki said.
Sylph chuckled and looked at Edward. "You look truly awful."

"It's all good." Curtis said.

"I'd say I feel it but I can feel anything." Edward said

"Wow... I was expecting you to murder me.." Chiaki said, calming down.
"I'm slightly tempted to kick your balls to test that." Sylph stated.

"Heh, over a dance? Nah, Edwards ruined so much stuff in my life it ain't even funny." Curtis said.

"Don't even try it." Edward said

Sylph burst out laughing.
"Really?" Chiaki asked.

Edward chuckled.

"Oh yeah." Curtis said. "Then, now that I'm a big star, he tries to talk to me again, I mean, why? So he can bum money off me to feed whatever addiction he has now?"

"......" Chiaki slowly nodded, remembering the time he stole her wallet for pot money and touching a few scars on her cheek from his brass knuckles.
Sylph sighed. "I still don't know why Kevin would do that.."

"He's so endowed in grief he forgot what Daniel was fighting for." Edward said.

"My life improved when he got out of it." Curtis said

Sylph nodded and started thinking.
"Same... Until Komaeda dragged me with him to the place where he and Edward work." Chiaki said, her nails digging into her palms. She looked the same as she did all those years ago, the only difference was that the bruises all over her face turned into scars.

Edward grabbed a pen and paper.

"Aw man you have to work with him?" Curtis said

Sylph was still thinking.
"I'm pretty sure he still hates me." Chiaki said with a chuckle.

Edward began writing.

"Wouldn't put it above him, thinking he was all thug life and crap." Curtis said. "You can come in if ya want."
